Nothing happens in the chair that you haven't agreed to.

New patients
Welcome: adults, children, and anyone who hasn't been for years.
Late evenings
Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7.30pm.
The plan
£17.50 a month, with free check-ups for your under-18s.
Toothache? Ring at 8am. We keep two appointments free every weekday morning.
What we do, and what it costs.
Our prices from 1 January 2026. Before anything starts, your written plan gives the exact price of each thing on it.
Also: white fillings from £145, and crowns from £750.
Check-ups
from £65
A new patient check-up takes 45 minutes and costs £95, with any x-rays you need and your written plan. After that, a routine check-up is 30 minutes and £65.
Children's check-ups are £35, and free for under-18s when a parent is on the plan.
Hygiene
£85
Forty minutes with Meg, our hygienist: a scale and polish, your gums measured and looked after, and advice for your own mouth rather than a leaflet.
Teeth whitening
from £325
Trays made from a scan of your teeth, and gel to use at home for two weeks: £325. With a first session in the surgery as well: £495.
The consultation is free. We check your teeth are healthy first, and tell you honestly how white they will go.
Clear aligners
from £2,450
Clear, removable aligners to straighten your teeth, planned by Dr Osei from a 3D scan he shows you on screen. Treatment runs from £2,450 to £4,200, with retainers included.
The consultation and scan cost £60, taken off the treatment if you go ahead.
Dental implants
from £2,750
A single implant with its crown from £2,750, placed here by Dr Osei. Your plan sets out every stage and its price before the first one starts.
The consultation, with a 3D scan, is £120.
Emergency appointments
£95
We keep two appointments free every weekday morning. Ring at 8am and we will see you that day.
Free in opening hours for members of the plan.

We ask first
What has changed since last time, anything that hurts, anything that worries you. If you're nervous, say so: it changes how we do the rest.
2 of 5
Every tooth, one at a time
The dentist goes round your mouth tooth by tooth, from your upper right to your lower right, and tells you what they see as they go.
3 of 5
Your gums, measured
Six small measurements around each tooth, written on your chart, so next time we can see whether anything has moved.
4 of 5
X-rays only when they're due
Usually every two years, sooner if something needs a closer look. We tell you why before we take one.
5 of 5
A written plan, with prices
Blue marks what's already done, red what needs doing, and each thing has its price. Often the plan says nothing needs doing at all.
Raise your left hand, and we stop.
If you're nervous
Tell us when you book. Your first appointment is longer, nothing is done on the day unless you want it to be, and the dentist explains each step before it happens. Raise your hand at any time and we stop. Bring headphones and your own music, or borrow ours.
“I hadn't been to a dentist in eleven years. Nobody made me feel bad about it, and I left with a plan, a price, and nothing done that day.”
Ade, Earley
Bringing children
Bring them from their first birthday: a ride up and down in the chair, and a count of their teeth. Appointments from 8am before school, and until 7.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check-ups are free for under-18s when a parent is on the plan.
“Both of our boys ask when they're next going, which I never thought I'd say.”
Claire, Caversham
